2 Corinthians 9:3-5

³ But I have sent the brothers, in order that our ^(A)boasting about you may not be made empty in this case, so that, ^(B)as I was saying, you may be prepared; ⁴ lest if any ^(C)Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we—not to speak of you—be put to shame in this certainty of ours. ⁵ So I regarded it necessary to encourage the ^(D)brothers that they would go on ahead to you and arrange beforehand your previously promised ^(E)blessing, so that the same would be ready as a ^(F)blessing and not as a ^[a](G)begrudging obligation.
